The sky is the limit in Neligh!  Neligh-Oakdale Public Schools offers a variety of activities and organizations. By joining clubs such FFA, drama, FCCLA, or FBLA students not only explore their interests but also develop valuable skills. Engaging in sports teams, whether it’s football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, golf, or track, promotes physical fitness and teamwork. Leadership opportunities arise through student government or organizing school events, allowing students to enhance their organizational and public speaking skills. Volunteering for community service projects can foster a sense of responsibility and global awareness. Balancing these commitments with academics teaches time management and prioritization, ultimately contributing to a well-rounded and fulfilling educational journey.

Neligh is home to several adult organizations that are very welcoming from service organizations to religious-based.  We are always looking for anyone interested in serving on any number of our City boards and committees.  Neligh is a place where you and your family can get involved in your community!
