Neligh, Nebraska is a town of 1,599 residents.  It was established in 1873 along the Elkhorn River by John Neligh. An anchor in Northeast Nebraska, Neligh’s outstanding park system, museums, antique stores, and historical sites make it a tourism destination in Nebraska.  Not to mention we are home to one of two active drive-in movie theatres in Nebraska.  Neligh’s progressive attitude has led to the formulation of an Economic Development Office and its own power production.
