Antelope County Museum

The Antelope County Historical Museum is a complex consisting of the Jail Museum (a real county jail), a replica log cabin and the Pioneer Church, a Historic Register building which served Neligh as St. Peter's Episcopal Church for over 100 years. Learn the story of White Buffalo Girl, an Indian child who died on the Ponca Trail of Tears. Hear about Shade On, the pacer horse who rose from a foal with a broken leg to national prominence on the track. They have archival material and many, many photographs recording the history of a real pioneer community.
