Neligh Municipal Power
Electric Generation
Neligh Municipal Power has embarked into electric generation with the award winning and one-of-a-kind 6.5 megawatt Biodiesel Electric Generation Facility.
This allows us to be self sustaining during emergency situations by providing power to the entire town. The plant has also allowed the citizens of Neligh to skirt power price increases, somewhere around 18% in the last year and a half.

This new line will open up significant capacity to Neligh Municipal Power. Visit NPPD's Site for more information on the project.
